Family Erotylidae or pleasing fungus beetles is belongs to superfamily Erotylidea, series Cucujiformia (Cai & Tihelka 2022) and contains about 2500 species worldwide. Representatives of the family are beetles with often orange or metallic body color and from 2 to 7 mm in size. All members of the family are mycophagous and are related in their development to basidiomycetes. The pleasing fungus beetles fauna of Ukraine includes 22 species, 11 species of which can be found throughout the territory of Ukraine (Drogvalenko 1997, 2005; Mateleshko 2002, 2005, 2007, 2009; Mateleshko & Roshko 2006; Mateleshko & Chumak 2006; Mateleshko & Lovas 2010; Chumak 2013, 2017; Chumak et al., 2015; Diedus et al., 2022a, 2022b), 5 species were listed exclusively for the Ukrainian Carpathians (Roubal 1936; Drogvalenko 1997, 2002; Drogvalenko & Konovalov 2016; Mateleshko 2002, 2005, 2009; Mateleshko & Roshko 2006; Mateleshko & Chumak 2006; Chumak et al., 2015, Chumak 2017; Diedus et al., 2022a, 2022b), another 5 species were indicated from eastern and southeastern Ukraine (Drogvalenko 1997, 2002; Drogvalenko & Konovalov 2016), and 2 species – from the Crimea (Drogvalenko 2005; Drogvalenko & Konovalov 2016). The collection of the State Museum of Natural History, National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (SMNH) presents 100 specimens of the family Erotylidae, belonging to 9 species and 4 genera, as follows: Combocerus glaber (Schaller, 1783) – 3 specimens, Dacne bipustulata (Thunberg, 1781) – 31, D. notata (Gmelin, 1790) – 16, Triplax aenea (Schaller, 1783) – 8, T. rufipes (Fabricius, 1787) – 13, T. russica (Linnaeus, 1758) – 1, T. scutellaris Charpentier, 1825 – 3, Tritoma bipustulata Fabricius, 1775 – 15, T. subbasalis (Reitter, 1896) – 10. Most of the material was collected from the western part of Ukraine in 9 georegions: Volynska Upland (Potorytsia) – D. bipustulata (1 spec); Male Polissia (Radvantsi) – D. bipustulata (1 spec); Roztochchia (Holosko, Lviv, Lysynychi, Ivano-Frankove) – D. bipustulata (4 spec.), D. notata (13 spec.), T. aenea (2 spec.), T. subbasalis (9 spec.), T. bipustulata (10 spec.); Opillia (Kasova Hora, Lviv) – D. bipustulata (17 spec.), C. glaber (1 spec.), T. aenea (3 spec.), T. rufipes (11 spec.), T. bipustulata (5 spec.), T. subbasalis (1 spec.); West Podillia Upland (Synkiv) – C. glaber (1spec.); Prut-Dnister Upland (Uhornyky) – D. notata (1 spec.); Ciscarpathian Upland (Vovchynets) – D. bipustulata (1 spec.), D. notata (1 spec.), T. bipustulata (1 spec.); Skolivski Beskydy (Bubnyshche) – T. scutelaris (2 spec.); Chornohora massif – C. glaber (1 spec.). Besides, the collection contains 2 specimens of D. bipustulata from Poland (Bielany) and 2 spec. from Galicia collected by Mazurek. In addition, 17 speciments of pleasing fungus beetles are missing labels. It is also worth noting, that the collection deposited in the SMNH of the NASU was made during the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
